10 weeks!!

Sorry, this post is a little late! We have been so busy trying to pack up our house to move into our brand new house!! I am so excited! I am ready to find out what this little one so I can start on the nursery. We have so many exciting things that are happening right now and I am so thankful and so blessed! Here are my nine week photos!!

I have a little bitty "baby bump." :) I can tell my pants are fitting a little tighter. All in all I feel really good. I still get a little nauseous every now and then, but nothing like it was in the beginning. I have been really blessed to have a great pregnancy so far! Let's keep praying that it keeps going great!

Let me tell you how sweet my husband is. He has been really good with helping me out with everything around the house, especially when it comes to the move. He will not let me do anything. He always helps me out with anything I need him to, but I feel like he has taken a lot of the stress on himself and tried to keep it off me during this whole buying/selling process. And bless his heart, he works so hard all the time and I feel like I fail to tell him how much I appreciate him as much as I should. The other day I came home to find a willow tree figurine setting on our kitchen table. It really brightened my day. I did not expect it at all. I thought that I would share the picture of the figurine with everyone. I really do have the best husband on earth. I cannot wait to give him the best gift ever!

I guess that is all for now. Love you all.

Nine Weeks and Doctor Update!!!

We went to the doctor today! I never have been so excited to go to the doctor in my life! :) The appointment went great! I have only gained one pound, which the doctor didn't seem concerned but the nurse made sure to tell me that I am suppose to gain 3 pounds a month. I eat all the time, I have always had a hard time gaining weight. But I am sure that it will all come with time. :) The nurse also moved my due date from November 17th to November 14th and she said that this is not going to change. She said that all my lab work looks really good as well. After examining me, she used the doppler to try to hear the baby's heartbeat. She warned me beforehand that she might not be able to hear anything since I was just 9 weeks and that normally you cannot hear a baby's heartbeat on doppler until after 10 weeks. She also mentioned that she wouldn't even try it, but I am so skinny that she wanted to try and see if we might here it. Unfortunately, we couldn't hear anything. I asked her again if I should worry and she said absolutely not! I trust her. She said that everything looked good for 9 weeks and that my uterus was measuring right where it should be so that reasurred me. She said that she wanted to see me back in 3-4 weeks so our next appointment is scheduled for May 5th and I cannot wait! She also said that we should know the sex of the baby at our next ultrasound. Even though it will be sometime in late June, it will be here before we know it!! We cannot wait!! Anyway here is my 9 week photo.

I have still been sick with this cold. I am hoping it goes away soon! Other than that I have felt really good. Hopefully this weekend I will have my 10 week photo up. We have been really busy trying to pack up our house to move. I cannot wait to get into our house and finally get settled! Check back this weekend for 10 week photos!!

Eight Weeks!

Here we are at eight weeks. Just a few more weeks and I will be in the second trimester. How exciting!! This week I have not felt very good. I have been having trouble with my allergies/sinuses or it's just a cold. No fever though which is a great thing! I am still not showing a whole lot but I can tell that my body if going through some changes. Here is my eight week photo.

It is all so exciting. I know it is just going to get better as time goes by. As far as symptoms, I really do not have a lot. I still have bouts of nauseousness, but yet I am constantly hungry and have been for the past two weeks! :) I am really tired all the time as well. Other than that I have felt really good and I am so thankful for that! We go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so hopefully I will have an update along with my 9 week photo! So check back for an update.

7 Weeks!

Well I am 7 weeks pregnant! Actually beginning of my eighth week as I write this post! It seems like just yesterday we were finding out we were going to be parents. I am a little behind on posting my 7 week photo because my husband got so sick with a horrible sinus infection and was running a really high fever so he sent me away to my moms for the weekend because he was so worried about getting me sick. So I got to spend some quality time with mom and we had lots of fun. Of course, we go shopping every time we are together and now that I am pregnant we always some how end up in the baby section of every store! I love it! That is my new favorite spot. I know it's still early but we cannot help ourselves. I cannot wait to find out what this little one is so that I can start buying "pink" or "blue" :) My step-dad could not help himself and he bought the baby this really cool Peek a Boo Soother that you put on the side of the crib and it plays soothing music along with motion lights and nature sounds. It is really cute! I will have to post some pictures of the items we have collected so far. :)

My husband bought me the Belly Book when we first found out. It is a nine month journal where I can put all of my pictures of my growing belly as well as memories about our journey. It was so sweet of him to buy it for me. Anyway...here is my 7 week photo.

Our new camera is broken so we have had to take photos with our older digital camera until we get our new one fixed, so these pictures aren't as good with the older camera. :) I cannot believe how fast time seems to be going by. I have been feeling good for the most part and yet to actually get sick. I hope it will continue. I seem to dry heave a lot, especially if I let myself get hungry or if I am brushing my teeth. I almost lose it every time I brush my teeth, but I am determined not to get sick. I am sure this will get better with time. I am definitely not complaining because it could be much, much worse. I am so thankful I have felt so good so far. Well that's all for now. Hopefully I will have my eight week photos up by the end of the week. Love you all! Nick and Amy
