9 weeks!!

Whew! This pregnancy has been NOTHING like my pregnancy with Brayden. This pregnancy has been totally different all around!  I have been sick since 7 weeks and not just the dry heaving but vomiting as well.  YUCK!  Thankfully when I had my first appointment I discussed it with the nurse and they gave me a prescription for an pill containing vitamin B6 and Ginger and thankfully that has helped but it definitely has not completely taken the sickness away. The other night I wanted Pizza Hut bread sticks and their cheese sauce so bad so after my husband got off work he ran to Pizza Hut to get a pizza and bread sticks.  That was all I thought about that day.  I enjoyed my slice of pizza and my bread sticks with cheese and within minutes I was in the bathroom.  Evidently this little one already knows what they do not like and Pizza Hut was one of them! :(  Although I have not felt like myself in WEEKS it is so worth it for this blessing!!

I decided to do something different this time around and do pregnancy highlights at the end of each blog entry to keep up with my weight gain,  size of the baby, cravings, best moments, etc.  So here is my first set of pregnancy highlights along with my 9 week pictures!

Pregnancy Highlights!

How far along?  9 weeks 1 day

Size of Baby?  Size of a grape

Weight Gain/Loss? None as of yet

Maternity Clothes? Not yet.  I am still in all my regular clothes/pants

Best Moment this week? My sweet little boy comforting his mommy as I was crying because I felt sooooo sick.  He came to me and wiped my tears and wrapped his little arms around me and gave me his sweet kisses letting me know that everything was ok.  He sure knows how to melt his mommy's heart!  

Gender?  Unknown

Movement? Not yet

Food Craving? Nothing really sounds good at all.

What I miss? Not feeling sick ALL THE TIME! :)

Sleep?  Okay, once I can get to sleep.  I usually go to bed sick at my stomach so it takes me a little bit to finally fall asleep.

What I am looking forward to?  I am looking forward to feeling better and my second trimester! Hopefully this sickness will disappear and I will feel more like myself again! :)

Symptoms? Exhaustion, Nauseousness, Vomiting, and peeing all the time!

BIG NEWS!!

Someone has been keeping a BIG secret!!!

Brayden is proud to announce he is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!!

We are all so thrilled!!!

We found out on Janurary 19th! We are so excited to bring another little sweet baby into this world!!

  When I found out I was pregnant with Brayden, I found out I was pregnant and sold our house all in the same week!! Talk about crazy!  This time just a few days before finding out we were expecting my husband booked us a cruise for April! Little did we know that we were about to find out we were expecting!!  We did not know if I would feel up to going or not so we went ahead and cancelled.  There will be plenty of time to take that cruise.  WE ARE HAVING A BABY!! Can you tell we are SOOOO excited?!?!

Thankfully we did cancel because I have been so sick at my stomach since I turned 7 weeks.  It usually is worse in the afternoon and especially at night.  As far as food, I have a hard time looking at it and NOTHING sounds good. 

As far as exhaustion, I mainly feel like I am in a daze.  It is not horrible exhaustion but I do have times where I feel like I cannot go on. 

But even on those days that I feel so bad, I thank God for this HUGE blessing that he gave to us! I am so excited, nervous, anxious, and most of all BLESSED!

Today we went for all my lab work and our first ultrasound!!

Here is our sweet baby!!!

They said everything looks great and the heart rate was 168!

We are beyond thrilled to add to our little family!!!

Please pray for us as we continue this journey and pray for a happy healthy little baby!

I plan to update on my pregnancy on a regular basis just like I did with Brayden so check back for updates!!!

CATCHING UP ON LIFE.....

With me being so far behind and being without a computer for a few weeks I feel like I have alot of catching up to do so this is going to be a post with lots of pictures.  I like to keep up with this since I do have this printed every year to keep as his baby book. 

First off I will start off with a picture of my sweet baby boy!

This little guy LOVES bathtime.  He will go running into the bathroom anytime you mention a bath! He never puts up a fight at all!

We have a serious obsession with TRAINS.  When I say serious I mean SERIOUS!! This child is addicted!!

He loves to help mommy and daddy.  Here he is helping daddy take down a baby gate.

He loves to help mommy sweep the floors

and he does such a good job! :)

Here he is sleeping on the couch.  This NEVER happens.  He LOVES to be in his bed and rarely sleeps anywhere else. He must have been wore out.

This kid loves his sleep and when you ask him "Are you ready to take a nap?' He says "yes" and gets his monkeys and heads to bed.  He does the same thing at night.  He goes to bed at 8:00 pm and usually sleeps until 9:30 sometimes later.  I could not ask for a better little boy.  He never puts up a fight. He minds so well and he is such a easy going little guy with pretty much everything we do and I am so thankful for that.  I am blessed.

He is seriously always this happy!

This little boy loves to talk!! He loves when we sing our ABC's and when we count! It seems like he is saying something new every day.  He picks up on things so easy it seems! I am so proud of him!

He loves his big boy cereal.  He thinks he is so big every time he gets to eat cereal. 

He loves to pretend to cook just like mommy.  He got a kitchen/market from Papaw for Christmas and he loves it!

He also LOVES to play doctor. 

He also loves to be mommy's little handyman. 

We are currently working on potty training.  He loves to sit on it but we have not had much luck with it yet but I haven't really put a whole lot of effort in it yet.  I figure that I will really start buckling down here soon and pray that it goes well.  He catches on to everything so easy so I hope this will be just the same!

Playing outside in FEBRUARY!

The weather has been so nice here lately that we were able to get out a couple of days and enjoy the weather. I am so tired of being cooped up in the house.  I am ready for spring!

Brayden loves to get outside and play and I was so happy that it has been warm enough to do just that!
