19 Weeks!!!

19 weeks and the baby is growing and so am I!! :) The baby's kicks/movements seem to be getting stronger as the days go by. We find out the baby's sex on TUESDAY and we cannot wait! No more calling the little one just "the baby" It will finally have a name!! ( As long as it corporates) As each week passes I get more and more excited!! I went to work on Monday and several people told me that I seem to have grown over the weekend. I believe it!! This past weekend was Father's Day. My dad came up and we all went out to eat. My brother also made it in so I was very glad to see him. I got Nick a small gift for Father's Day. I got him the New Dad Willow Tree figurine.

Nick and I spent all day together and grilled out that night. It was a great weekend, even if it was 100 degrees outside. I cannot wait to see Nick with this baby. I know he will be the best daddy in the world. And Lord help me if this little one is a boy because Nick will make sure that he is his mini-me. :) No that will be just fine with me!

Everyone keeps asking what I would like the baby to be and honestly I really do not care just as long as this little one is healthy. It is a gift from God. We are so blessed.

Anyway, here are my 19 week photos:

A funny story....I was standing at the vending machines at work on Monday and a total stranger came up to me and said....."Are you having a boy?" I smiled and said "I do not know yet, we find out in about a week." She said, " I would bet it is a boy by the way you are carrying." She went on to tell me that she had 2 girls and a boy. She told me again that she definitely thinks it is a boy. Then again, I also had a total stranger in Target tell me I was having a girl, so we will see on Tuesday.

This week I have felt really good. I have had some back pain and round ligament pain, but it is all worth it. Also, this week this little one has been so active and also a little bossy. :) I guess the baby does not like the way I sit sometimes and it started kicking and flopping around. I was sitting on the couch and all of a sudden this little one started going crazy! So I lifted up my shirt to see if I could see the little kicks and sure enough there it was. I have been able to see it twice this week. It was the most amazing thing!

18 weeks!!

Another week has flown by yet again! Where is the time going? I am now 18 weeks, well 19 weeks today as I write this post. It has taken me a little while to post this week. I have had a couple people ask when I was going to blog again. They keep me on my toes! :) I have had a great week this week. Nick felt the baby move last Sunday and he thought it was so neat! Ever since then the baby will move and he will put his hand on my belly and it will stop. This little one is already playing tricks on daddy. Oh well, I am sure that he will be able to feel it more and more in the coming weeks! I have felt really good this past week. I have been emotional this week though and it seems I want to cry at the drop of a hat and Nick wonders why I am crying and of course most of the time I have no clue why I am crying. :) The baby has been really active this week. Feeling this baby move is the BEST feeling in the world. Words cannot describe it. I have been having some discomfort at times, which is probably round ligament pain. Boy is that fun! But if I relax it usually lets up thank goodness. It is all worth it though. Anyway here are my 18 week photos. Sorry I look a little rough. We were heading down to the riverfront for the Freedom Fest to watch Billy Currington and I didn't want to wear a lot of make up because it is so HOT outside! Anyway here are my photos:

We also ordered our baby furniture this past Saturday and it came in Wednesday and Nick had it all together by the time I got home from work on Friday!! I was so excited and it is perfect! Here is the beginning of the baby's nursery!!

I absolutely LOVE the furniture that we picked out! I cannot wait to find out what we are having so we can start decorating!! We are just so excited to bring this baby in this world. I cannot wait! We have 9 more days till we find out the sex of the baby and then we will finally announce the name! So keep checking back for updates!!! I guess that is all for now! 17 weeks and Doctor Update!!!

WOW....where has the time gone?? I am currently 17 weeks and getting bigger everyday!! I love it! I have also really started to feel this little one kicking around. It is the most amazing feeling, words cannot describe. I have been feeling flutters for a while now, but I am able to feel kicks. I can actually place my hand on my belly and feel it. SO AMAZING! I feel the baby pretty often, so I am positive that this baby will be pretty active. So here are my 17 week photos:

We went back to the doctor today! Everything went great. My blood pressure was good, which everyone at work worried about my blood pressure because of the migraine headaches that I was getting. I really did not think that it was my blood pressure. I talked to the doctor about those headaches today and she thinks that they are hormonal migraines. She gave me a prescription to take if I get another one. Lets hope I don't have to use it! I have gained a little over 5 pounds since my last appointment 5 weeks ago. So I have gained a total of 9 1/2 pounds since the beginning. They told me that I was right on track. :) The doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat and she asked us if we were going to find out the sex. We told her yes. She smiled and said that she would listen to the heartbeat and see if she could take a guess. Well she said that the baby's heartbeat was in the low-mid 140's and she looked at us and said that she wasn't even going to attempt to guess because that was right in the middle and normally she would say a boy if it had a lower heart rate, but she said that it could be a little girl that is asleep. So we will have to just wait and see. :) Nick told me tonight that he was talking to one of the guys that he works with and his wife is pregnant as well. They just found out they are having a little girl and her heart rate was at 141. So it just goes to show that you really cannot tell by their little heartbeat. Either way, the doctor said that it was a healthy heartbeat. :) I just cannot wait to find out.

16 Weeks!!!

Time keeps just flying by. Here we are already at 16 weeks!! Can you believe it?? I have had a tough week this week. My nauseousness has finally subsided, but I missed two days of work this week due to migraines. I have not had a migraine in two years and then Monday I woke up with a horrible headache and I just thought that I was getting a really bad sinus headache. Normally before I get a migraine, I lose some vision and cannot see all of the words or objects that I am trying to see. I guess since I woke up with this headache I never thought about it being a migraine. Well I forced myself to work all day that day and came home and laid around all night and went to bed early. I thought that I could sleep it off. Boy, was I wrong. I woke up the next morning with the same headache and I was throwing up so I called into work and slept all day. When I woke up it was a little better and actually felt better as the day went on. My husband stayed home with me that day and we were getting ready to cook dinner and I started seeing the blind spots in my eyes and that is when it hit me that I was suffering from migraines. What fun! So another headache that night ruined my night. I went to bed and woke up feeling better! I was fine all day on Wednesday and Thursday morning I went to work and felt great and I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden I lost vision again!! And yet again another headache came on. My husband came and picked me up from work and I had to miss work for the second day that week. I was getting worried and frustrated at the same time. I just hope that it is over and I do not suffer from another one for a LONG time!! Keep praying for me and this little one. :)

Anyway, enough about the bad week!! This week I actually felt the baby!! I have been feeling little flutters for a little while now, but this week I can actually feel the little one!! It is the most amazing feeling in the world. I cannot wait to actually feel strong kicks and Nick cannot wait to be able to feel his baby move! :) It won't be long. I feel the little movements pretty often, so I am pretty sure that this little one is going to be pretty active. That's okay, because feeling this baby give me reassurance that everything is OK. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday so I hope to have an update for you then. Then 3 weeks from Tuesday we find out the sex of this little one! It will be here before we know it.

15 Weeks!!!!

Sorry I am so late getting this post up! It seems like the weekdays just slip by and before you know it the week is gone and it is time to start another week! I am actually 16 weeks as I write this post but my 16 week photos and update will come later in the week. I promise! :)

I have felt really good this week. I have had a couple of headaches, but not a lot of nauseousness so I hope that is finally subsiding! I have pretty much been eating anything that I have wanted and have not had a lot of cravings until the past couple of weeks. This week has been the worst!! I have craved pizza subs from subway (which I have not had in years), tomatoes, and anything fruity. Whether it be actual fruit, fruit bars, fruit cups, you name it, I wanted it!! I usually eat good even when I wasn't pregnant, but I have noticed that I have been eating more vegetables as well. I love just about any vegetable you can think of so those have tasted really good to to me as well.

I am sure that I will have lots more cravings as I go along, but I am looking forward to it. I am anxious to see how much weight I have gained since my last appointment. I do not seem to have gained any weight anywhere besides my belly, but I am sure that will change with time. :)

So to answer one of the questions as to what names we have chosen??? Well.........you will just have to wait and see. :) We will announce the name of the baby as soon as we find out what we are having. We have had the names picked out long before we got pregnant and we decided to wait and reveal "Baby Lynch's" name, until we find out "boy" or "girl" The Good News???? You have less than a month to find out!! (27 days to be exact!) As long as this little one corporates!

I will leave you with a cute story. My husband loves to be goofy. That is one thing that I love about him and I wouldn't have it any other way. While he was taking my pictures this week he decided to take a picture of my FEET when I wasn't paying attention. When I asked him, what he thought he was doing, he went on to tell me that he thought that we would capture a picture of my feet so I could remember what they looked like because I wouldn't be able to see them again for a while!! I could have killed him!! Nick, on the other hand, thought it was hilarious! Oh well, I love him!
