Brayden would like to wish his GRAMMIE a very special HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

It was SO hard to get pictures of him today! He was in a mood! :) So we had a photo shoot and then had a meltdown and had to try it again. HA! He was getting hungry and sleepy and it was NOT a good combination.

Brayden want to let you know that you are the BEST Grammie in the world and he is such a lucky boy to have you as his GRAMMIE!

Brayden is 17 months old!!

Is it really already APRIL?? This year is going by way to fast.  Brayden is 17 months old today! Such a big little boy with a BIG personality.  I love his sweet personality and he is SO much fun and makes us laugh constantly!

Here is my little man at 17 months!

He is getting SO BIG!

Here is what has been going on in Brayden's world this past month!

**He LOVES to pretend.  He is doing it more and more each day.  One night I was in the cabinet getting something out and he came behind me and grabbed some of my sprinkles and spices and went to the end table and started pretending to pour them into one another.

I love to sit back and watch him play.  He has such an imagination already!

He does this all the time with any thing he can get a hold of.  Here is a video of him that night.

He also pretends to drink from cups, toys and anything that is remotely shaped like a cup or bottle.  He also loves to play with his cars or tractors and will make the "car noise" while he is playing or riding his tractor.  It is the cutest thing!

**He still absolutely loves nap time and bedtime. I hope I do not jinx myself but he has been taking a good 2 1/2 -3 hour naps for a few months now and sleeps all night long.  He goes to bed at 8 and wakes up at about 7 or 7:30 sometimes later. He loves it so much that you can ask him if he is ready to go nite nite and he will start giggling and head into his nursery and grab ahold of the side of the crib and pull his leg up. He is ready for bed! :)   He also has to make sure that he has monkey before bed now.  He is VERY attached to his monkey and will look for him if he is not in his crib when he goes to bed.  And after nap time monkey comes out the crib and he carries him around with him..

**Bath time is a different story.  He use to LOVE baths and he still does once you get him in there but if he hears the water start running he starts crying.  I think it is just a phase he is going through.  I do not know if it is the sound or what but it terrifies him for some reason that is unknown to me.  I will have to say the past few days he is getting better with this.

**He loves to brush his own teeth.  I will brush them first to make sure they get good and clean and then he takes over.  I have never seen a little one so enthused with brushing their teeth.  He LOVES it!

Saying YAY and clapping his hands after we were done brushing his teeth! :)

**Brayden tries to help put his own socks on.  Of course he cannot get them on completely but he sure knows what they are suppose to do.  He is too smart!

** Anything new or anything that he thinks is amazing he will say "WOW" over and over again.  It is so funny!

**He is still obsessed with Mickey Mouse and Blues Clues but he also has a new obsession...TEAM UMIZOOMI. He also loves Bubble Guppies and Chuggington.   I am glad to have a variety of little cartoons he loves to watch.

Watching Team Umizoomi

**He can now step up on the stairs or up on a curb while holding your hand. We were at the car dealership the other day and we were walking around and and he took off toward the curb and I grabbed his little hand and he stepped right up on the curb. It will not be long before he is trying to completely walk up our stairs! Ekkk!

** Brayden loves the outdoors and I am ready for this crazy weather to stay warm so we can get outside!! He loves to go on wagon rides, play with his soccer ball, and run around in the yard.  He loves to play ball with mommy outside.  I will throw the ball to him and he will run and get it and throw it back to me to throw it again, and again, and again! :) He also loves to kick the ball around the yard.  He would stay out there all day!

Kisses for mommy! They melt my heart!

** He also LOVES to go "bye-bye" If you ask him if he wants to go "bye bye" and show him his shoes he will take off running to me and I will put him on the stairs to put his shoes on and he will stick his little feet out to put his shoes on.  He is ready to GO!

**He loves to give kisses and has learned to blow kisses.  He will put his little hand on his mouth and go "mmmmmm" It is the sweetest thing ever!

** He also says "Cheese" now when I take his picture.  I was teaching him to say it one day and he picked it right up and we would both say "cheese!!!" and he would get SO tickled.  Check out these pictures! HAHA!

My handsome little man!

 He was saying "CHEESE!"

 Cracking himself up!

**He will take his Mickey Mouse push toy and put his stuffed blue on it and push him around the house.  I guess he picked this up from mommy pushing him around in his stroller.  It is so cute to see!

**If he is ready for a snack he will go to the cabinet and get the Apple Jacks box and bring them to me no matter where I am.  He sure knows what he wants! :)

**This little boy is a DANCING MACHINE.  I know I have mentioned this several times before but it is dancing more and more each day.  He dances to commericals, his cartoons, to music that I play throughout the day, when I sing to him, and in the car to the radio.  Anytime he sees the radio at home he starts dancing because he knows that I am getting ready to turn it on and play music! I love it!  We actually have daily dance parties together. I love dancing with my 1 year old! :)

** Brayden does not just walk anymore.....he RUNS everywhere!  If I leave for a little while and come back he will literally take off from across the room running as hard as he can and I will squat down and he will run into my arms and wrap his little arms around my neck every time no matter if I am gone for 15 minutes or several hours! Melts my heart!

I guess that is all for his 17 month update

I will leave you with a few more pictures of my sweet little boy!

He was asleep before he could even finish his last apple jack!
He loved to play in these totes while I got things ready for a rummage sale! He found it pretty entertaining.  :)
