ITS POTTY TIME!!

A couple of weeks ago we bought Brayden his potty chair! He has been showing interest in the potty and so we wanted to go ahead and get one just to get him use to it.

Well....As I was piecing it together Brayden could not keep his little hands off of it.  Here he is sitting with his legs INSIDE the potty! HA!

There we go! I think he is ready to go! His reading materials are in hand.....HA!

I am not forcing potty training on him.  He will pick up on it when he is ready.  I am not so sure I am ready for my baby to be going to the potty just yet.  It seems he should still be a itty bitty baby! :(

But I know that the day has to come sooner or later.

He has been such an easy child so far.  Let's hope that potty training comes just as easy!

4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AND BIRTHDAY TRIP TO JAMAICA 2011

Three weeks ago tomorrow, we were on our way back to Jamaica to celebrate our birthdays and our 4 year wedding anniversary coming up in September.  We had an amazing time, but we sure missed our little man!  I went back and forth several times whether to even go or not.  I have never been away from Brayden for more than 2 days and just the thought of leaving Brayden for that long, and being out of the country made me sick to my stomach, but we all survived.  Nick and I had a great time and had some much needed alone time to reconnect as husband and wife and not just mommy and daddy.  We researched several destinations and even a cruise.  We looked into Punta Cana, Virgin Islands, Bahamas, and Cabo (which we went to back in 2008).  We loved Cabo and would highly recommend it!! After researching several destinations we decided to just go back to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The first time we went we stayed at Sandals for our honeymoon and this time we chose to stay at Secrets Wild Orchid.  It was amazing!  This time while we were in Jamaica we took a glass bottom boat tour which was so neat and we also took a private charter to go deep sea fishing.  I have been deep sea fishing twice before, once in Florida and once in Cabo San Lucas.  I will have to say that I had a much better time deep sea fishing in Cabo than I did in Jamaica.  It was still a great time, but I probably wouldn't do it again in Jamaica.  Anyway, I thought that I would share SEVERAL photos of our vacation with you.

If you ever decide to go to Jamaica I would definitely recommend Secrets. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation but I am so happy to be back home with my baby boy!!
