Nick and Amy plus TWO!: Brayden is 19 months old!!

Where in the world did this past month go? I am so late at posting his 19 month update. It seems like I was just posting that he was 18 months old!! June is half over and this year is just flying right past us. It is unreal how fast time flies once you have a child.

Well here is my little man at 19 months old!! He is getting so big! It kills me!!

I love this stage he is in. He is so much fun and is so full of life and energy. If only mommy had 1/4 of the energy this little guy has! He has got such a personality and he already knows how to work mommy with those big baby blue eyes.

When he is in trouble, he will bow his little head and stick out his bottom lip. Then he will slowly raise his little head to see if I am watching (which I am) and he has the saddest puppy dog look you have ever seen. It takes everything I have in me not to just melt. He is starting soooo early!! LOL

This past month not a lot has changed.

Here is what Brayden is up to these days:

**He can now walk down stair VERY well while hold just one of your hands. He is doing great at this!

** He eats with a fork now, but still loves to eat with his fingers.

**He pretends all the time and he is getting a very big imagination. One of his favorite things to do is pretend to cook while mommy cooks. Sometimes I will put him in his highchair so he can watch me and I will give him one of my big spoons, some measuring spoons and some other little things to play with and he will pretend he is cooking just like mommy. He will take the spoon and put it in his mouth and go "mmmm....." like he is tasting it! HAHA! So cute!

**Brayden has his very FIRST cough a couple of weeks ago and I believe it was all allergy related. Since he never ran a fever and never even acted like he felt bad, we did not go to the doctor but I called to see what we could give him and they said to give him Children's Dimetapp Cold and Cough. I also ran a humidifier in his room as well. We have been lucky and never had to give Brayden anything but very little Tylenol in his 19 months.

**He still loves bath time and does not cry anymore. I think it was just a short phase because it has not happened since.

**He still sleeps GREAT!! He has always been a great sleeper. He is still napping between 2-3 hours a day and he goes to bed at 8 and will wake up about 7-7:30.

**This child loves to have a schedule. He is like clockwork which I love. We had worked really hard to keep him on a schedule and it has worked!! I can almost tell you the moment he is going to get hungry or want a snack and he LOVES nap time and he knows when it is time for a nap. He will get his monkey and head to his room and wait for me to pick him and put him in bed. I love that he is on a schedule and I hope we do not mess this up when we go on vacation.

**He loves to talk!! He talks all the time and tells all kinds of stories and will carry on his own little conversation with you. I love it!! I love to just sit and talk back and forth to him. He is amazing!!

**He is a pro at my iPad. He amazes me at what all he knows how to do. He blows my mind!

**He is such an affectionate little guy!! He is so sweet and loving. He loves to give hugs and kisses. And blows kisses to mommy!! Melts my heart!!

**This little guy LOVES to be outside and would stay out there 24 hours a day if you would let him. He loves it! He plays on all his toys, plays in his sprinkler, and on his new swing set. He loves it!!

FUN with PLAYDOH!!

**When he first goes outside he will start looking for bird and start yelling "BIRD" He loves to watch birds the entire time he is outside.

** He has a new show that he is in LOVE with.....The Fresh Beat Band. He loves the music and dancing and he will dance and clap right along with them. He also loves Mickey Mouse, along with Blues Clues and Team Umizoomi!! At least we have a variety of shows he loves to watch.

**Brayden is all boy, loves to play ball, wrestle and play with cars but is not really into getting dirty just yet. If he gets dirt on his hands or grass stuck on his hands he will come run to me for me to get it off. I sure that day will come when he wants to roll in the dirt! :)

I guess that is all for now. I am so blessed to have such a happy little boy LOVES to smile and is happy all the time....well with a few meltdowns in between but that is to be expected! :) I would not trade him for anything in this world and he is my whole world. Life just keeps getting better and better and it is all because of him!
