It is amazing to me that at 11 weeks the baby's bones are starting to harden and muscles are beginning to develop. The baby is already busy kicking and stretching although I can not feel the movement yet. I cannot wait to feel those kicks! That is one thing that I miss the most!
This past week has been about the same as the previous weeks. I have still been sick, but hopefully it is improving. The other night I was just talking to my husband before bed and all of a sudden I started dry heaving, ran to the bathroom and completely lost everything. They always say that no two pregnancies are the same and boy are they right!
I had a doctors appointment yesterday and I got to the hear the baby's heartbeat again!! What a great sound! The heartbeat was in the 150's. She also confirmed my due date of September 28th. We set up my next two appointments-a checkup in April and the BIG ultrasound for May!! We find out what we are having on May 15th!! We are so excited! The weeks will drag by I am sure! We are counting down!!!
Pregnancy Highlights!
How far along? 11 weeks and 5 days
Size of Baby? Size of a fig
Weight Gain/Loss? Gained 1 pound (116LBS)
Maternity Clothes? Not yet. So far I am still able to fit into my skinny jeans! :)
Best Moment this week? Hearing my baby's heartbeat!!! I could not help but smile from ear to ear when I heard it again yesterday!! It is the next best sound to hearing your newborn baby crying for the first time! Melts my heart!!
Gender? We find out May 15th! It seems soooo far away!! We cannot wait to find out!!
What I miss? Being able to eat without feeling sick or worrying about throwing up after. Being able to do things throughout the day without feeling completely exhausted.
Sleep? Still sleeping pretty good. I have my nights where I have trouble falling asleep no matter how exhausted I am. Sometimes it can be a little frustrating.
What I am looking forward to? Getting out and enjoying this gorgeous weather with my little man! Hopefully it will make me feel better to get out enjoy the weather and get some fresh air! Oh and I am looking forward to the second trimester!! We are sooo close! :)
Symptoms? Nauseous, Vomiting, Still going to the bathroom alot.
