14 Weeks!!!

I sure thought that the first trimester would take the nauseousness/vomiting along with it! Boy was I wrong.  I got sick out of no where on Sunday. I was hungry... I ate what I wanted and within minutes I was getting sick.  And on top of  that, Nick was also out of town and I was all by myself.   I am beginning to think that I am going to be sick up until I give birth!

I also had another migraine this week.  It seems like if I am having a good day, feeling pretty good and not sick at my stomach I get a migraine.  Here lately it seems like I cannot win for losing!

I  do not feel like I have grown too much in the past week! Call me crazy but I am looking forward to the big baby bump! I will probably eat my words once I get big ad it is 100 degrees outside this summer but for now I cannot wait to grow and finally feel those strong kicks! :)

Even though this is my second pregnancy, I always like to read up on what the baby is doing each week! This week I read that my baby can now  make faces, suck it's thumb and even pee! The kidneys are producing urine, which the baby releases into the amniotic fluid around the baby! The baby's liver also starts to make bile during this week and the spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells! AMAZING!
Here are my 14 week highlights!

Pregnancy Highlights!

How far along? 14 weeks  4 days

Size of Baby?  Size of a lemon, about 3 1/2 inches and weighs about 1 1/2 ounces!

Weight Gain/Loss?   About a pound (3 pounds total)

Maternity Clothes?   Still able to fit into my normal clothing.

Best Moment this week?    Spending time with Nick and Brayden, just the 3 of us.  Before we know it we will be a family of 4!

Gender? We find out May 15th!!!

Movement?  Nothing yet.

Food Craving?   Sherbert

What I miss?  I miss feeling like my usual self.  Feeling bad all the time really takes a toll on you.  Hopefully it will get much better soon!

Sleep?   Still sleeping really well.  I am not having any problems sleeping, but I do have a problem getting of bed in the morning.  It seems like no matter how much sleep I get I am still so tired all the time.

What I am looking forward to?   Finally feeling normal and getting at least some of my energy back.

Symptoms? Still nauseous and vomiting and the wonderful migraines!

Here are my 14 week photos!
