19 Weeks!!!

19 weeks and this baby is growing like a weed and so am I! I cannot believe I am already 19 weeks! I am able to feel the baby more and more each day and I fall more and more in love with each and every tiny little movement! 

This week the baby's kidney's continue to make urine and hair on the scalp is sprouting! Our baby's sensory development is exploding! Their brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Also some research shows that the baby may be able to hear my voice now!! How amazing!!!

Just a few more days and we will be able to put a name to this sweet little baby!

Pregnancy Highlights!

How far along? 19 weeks 5 days

Size of Baby?  According to Baby Center the baby is about the size of a large heirloom tomato and weighs about 8 1/2 ounces.

Weight Gain/Loss?  According to my home scales I believe I have gained around 1 pound (8 total) I am anxious to see what my actual weight is at my next doctor's appointment. 

Maternity Clothes? I finally wore a complete maternity outfit on Saturday! I must say that I LOVE maternity jeans!

Best Moment this week? Nick was able to feel the baby kick the day that I turned 19 weeks!! The baby is starting to move around and kick like crazy! I can tell they are getting harder and harder as the days go by!

Movement?  Yes!! I have been feeling the baby move for a couple of weeks now.  The movements and kicks are getting stronger and stronger!

Food Craving?  I am hungry all the time!! I wake up starving and continue to be hungry throughout the day! This week I craved egg sandwiches of all things! I NEVER eat egg sandwiches but let me just say they were delicious!!!  I am still craving veggies and anything fruity!

What I miss?  I truly do not miss anything! I could, however do without the aches and pains that have already started in on me! But I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Sleep?   I am still sleeping pretty good.  This week I have tossed and turned more and more.  I find that I cannot get comfortable at times. 

What I am looking forward to? TUESDAY! I cannot wait to find out what this little one is! Boy or Girl, we are thrilled either way!! Brayden on the other hand, says "sissy" every time he is asked if he wants a bubby or a sissy! I think he will do just fine with either one! :)

Symptoms?  I have been feeling better as far as the morning sickness.  I will say that it has not completely went away but it is SO much better than before! I have been suffering from migraines at least once a week.  They are making me miserable!!  Also I am having some terrible pain in my tail bone! It is excruciating pain at times.  I probably better just get use to it because as this baby gets bigger I am sure the pain will get worse.
