36 Weeks and Doctor Update!!!

We are getting closer and closer!! I cannot wait!!  This week has been pretty rough emotionally and physically.  I have been so emotional and then on top of that I have been in lots of pain.  My entire body hurts all the time. It actually feels like I have worked out for DAYS!!  I hurt so bad that I have a hard time getting out of bed at times but I just keep pushing through.  This pregnancy has been the total opposite from my pregnancy with Brayden.  Thankfully, I am a stay at home mom and I can relax when I need to and get off my feet as needed and my sweet little boy lets his mommy do just that.  He is so sweet and I believe he knows when his mommy does not feel good.  He will actually tell me to sit down and ask me if I am ok.  He is the sunshine in my life and I do not know what I would do without that little boy!! If I ask him to help me with something he will do just that and he will even get my blanket for me without even asking.  He completely amazes me!! He is going to be such a big help once his little sister arrives.

This week I had a doctor's appointment.  This may be my next to last doctor's appointment before she arrives!!  Everything went great!! My blood pressure was 109/69 and I weigh 148 which is up one pound since my last visit two weeks ago. After she checked me and everything she measured me and once again I am measuring 33 weeks, going on 37 weeks.  She was still not concerned at all with the way I was measuring.  She also mentioned that the baby was very low.  This is the cause of all the pressure and LOTS of discomfort I have been having here lately.  She listened to her heartbeat and as soon as she put it on her she started kicking it like crazy. She said that her heart rate went up with movement  which is perfect.  Her heart rate started out at about 147 and went up to 155 with movement.  Just a couple more weeks and we will get to meet our baby girl!!

She is still kicking and moving around all the time.  She is active as ever! The other night Nick put his hand on my belly and barely put pressure on it and she kicked the fire out of us both! She definitely let's you know when she doesn't want you messing with her! I may just have a sassy little girl on my hands!

At the end of this week she is considered full term! Her skin is getting smooth and soft and her gums are rigid.  Her liver and kidneys are in working order and her circulation and immune system are basically good to go!

Pregnancy Highlights

How far along?  36 weeks, 6 days

Size of Baby?  This week she is approximately the size of a honeydew, weighing anywhere between 4.2 and 5.8 pounds and 17.2-18.7 inches long!

Weight Gain/Loss?   I weighed in at 148 this week at the doctor.  One pound gained in the past two weeks.

Maternity Clothes?  Yes

Gender? IT'S A GIRL! Olivia Kate!

Movement?   Olivia is still moving all the time.  Sometimes it can be quite uncomfortable, but that is because she is running out of room in there! I love to sit back and just watch my belly move.

Food Craving?  Caramel Apples!! We have a grocery store here that has some great Caramel Apples and I just seen where this amazing chocolate shop here in town has Caramel Apples now! I will be heading there this weekend!!

What I miss?  Feeling normal.  My body does not even feel like my body anymore and the pain is very intense at times but I would not trade it for anything in the world.

Sleep?  I am still sleeping pretty good once I can get to sleep.  I have been tossing and turning a lot more this week and I am sure it will continue until she is born.

Symptoms?  I have some slight swelling in my fingers and feet but nothing major, lots of aches and pains, the lovely sensations you get closer to time, heartburn, contractions but nothing too regular, exhaustion and I have pee all the time.  I definitely did not feel all of this with my first pregnancy!

Here are my 36 week photos!
