Nick and Amy plus TWO!: Olivia Kate is 8 months old!!!

It is so hard to believe that Miss Olivia is 8 months old!! She is growing, changing and learning more and more each day! It seems like this months was full of new things she has been doing!

Here is Olivia at 8 months old!

Here is what is going on with Miss Olivia these days:

*She started sitting up right after she turned 7 months old. She got the hang of it real quick!

*At 7 months and 5 days she got her first tooth!! It was the bottom right. And at 7 1/2 months the second tooth popped through. It was the bottom left.

*She loves to dance now! She started dancing around May 15, right before she turned 8 months and got the hang of it pretty quick too! Now that is all she wants to do! LOL She is so cute!

*She will shake her head no no when I say no. It is so cute!

*She loves to jump! She will literally jump out of your arms if you don't hang on to her. She loves to stand in my lap and jump. She would do it all day if you would let her.

*She thinks she is bigger than she is and sometimes that frustrates her. I think part of it is because she sees Brayden running around and doing so much that she wants to get in on the action.

*She is such a happy little girl. If she is crying something is definitely wrong!

*She "talks" all the time. I have a feeling she is going to be a talker just like her big brother.

Olivia will say: mama, bye bye, and very rarely she will say dada. Now when I tell her to say bubba she will repeat it too! She says mama all the time. Anytime she is upset or needs me she will babble "mamamamamama" Sweetest. Thing. Ever!

*She started army crawling around June 8th and she is pretty darn fast! Now that she is mobile she is after everything! She has always been the baby that is so nosy and has to touch everything. She will work as hard as she can to get anything that is out of her reach!

*She is sleeping better. She is still getting up once a night some nights but it is getting better. She is still a great sleeper otherwise. She loves her naps and never fights to take them.

*She is starting to eat a little better. She would still rather have her bottle than food though. She is still only taking 4-5 ounces at a time. She has tried all kinds of baby food and loves it all. She is not a picky eater, she is just not a big eater. Her favorite food right now would be mac and cheese.

*I gave her a half of a banana the other day and she LOVED it and ate almost every bit of it.

*We tried out the sippy cup and the juice this month. Of course it will take a little bit to get use to but she did manage to get a little juice out of it when I first gave it to her.

*She is definitely a mommy's girl. She doesn't like for me to leave her sight these days. And I am ok with that. I really love when those little arms reach out for me. Love her!

*She will stand while holding onto something or someone. As a matter of fact, she would rather stand than sit. If you are holding her she wants to stand in your lap. She is getting too big!

*She LOVES to play. She loves all her toys and plays with them all.

*She loves her walker too! She is starting to get the hang of it and would stay it in as long as you will let her.

*She loves for me to sing to her. I have found if she starts getting fussy all I have to do is start singing to her and she stops and listens and starts grinning from ear to ear. She loves it.

*She learned how to frame the beauty. My pappy use to tell me to "frame the beauty" all the time so it is so special that Olivia has learned to do it as well.

*She loves her bath time and loves to splash! Brayden gets the biggest kick out of her splashing in the water. For such a little gal she sure makes a heck of a mess!
