Nick and Amy plus TWO!: Brayden is 11 months old!!!

AHHHHH! Simon says "freeze!" I want to FREEZE time! My little baby should NOT be 11 months old. I swear it seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and now I have his first birthday planned and the invitations are going out in just a couple of weeks! Unbelievable!

Here is my little man at 11 months old!!

Doesn't he look like such a big boy? I know I am his mother and I am just a little partial but I think he is the cutest little guy around! :) I will say that it never fails when I am out and about I will usually get stopped almost every time by a total stranger just to tell me how cute he is or how sweet of a smile he has. He smiles at everyone and is such a friendly little baby. Complete strangers will stop me and talk about him. It warms my heart each and every time!

Here is what Brayden has been up to this past month:

** He walks unassisted with his shopping cart walker. We stay close just in case he falls but he does really well with it. He was so close to walking with it unassisted last month but he was still unsure of himself. These days he is getting more and more curious and more sure of himself.

**He pulls up on EVERYTHING in sight. He has been pulling up for a while but now he is EVERYWHERE.

**He is starting to become my little daredevil. He seems to have no fear. I caught him standing on his little box of toys just so he could reach something on the end table the other day.

**He does really well walking while holding on to something whether it is the coffee table, the couch or our hands. I do not think it will be long before he decides to take off.

Hi Mommy!

**Brayden still loves bath time, so much now that he screams and cries when we get him out. He does not want to get out. I truly believe I could leave him in there for hours. The other day I started running his bath water and he was in his playroom. He took off crawling and went straight into the bathroom and climbed up on the side of the tub and watched the running water. He then picked his foot up and was going to try and climb into the tub. :) Silly boy!

**He is into EVERYTHING. He has now discovered his dresser drawers, my kitchen cabinets, my laundry baskets...EVERYTHING! :)

**He has learned how to turn the TV on and off. We are teaching him that this is a "no-no" :)

**In addition to other words he can say, he can now say "no,no,no". He can also say "ba,ba,ba" when he wants his bottle. He has also started to pick up on "uh oh". When he falls I will say "uh oh" and he makes this little noise like he is trying to say it. It won't be long! He talks all the time! I love it!

**Brayden had his first visit to the pumpkin patch with mommy and daddy and then a second visit with Grammie and Pappaw Mikey while we were in Madisonville this past weekend. Needless to say we went home with several pumpkins. :)

**Brayden loves to play. He LOVES his playroom and all his toys. There are days that he will play all by himself and then there are days that he wants mommy right by his side. :)

Who knew a box could be so much fun

**Brayden is very independent but there are days where he wants to do nothing but be with his mommy. He loves to sit with mommy and watch cartoons before nap time. I treasure this time with him because I know that there will come a time where he will not want his mommy to hold him like that anymore.

**This past month Brayden made a couple more trips to the zoo before he gets too cold to go.

**Brayden loves his daddy! He gets so excited when he walks in the door after work everyday! He fights to get to him. One day Nick pulls up and Brayden is at the front door waiting for his daddy. His face was priceless when his daddy came to the front door.

**Brayden waves at everyone!! It is the sweetest thing. He has been waving for a few months now but here lately he waves all the time! The other day he was standing at the coffee table and his eyes were glued to the TV because the Backyardigans were on and he started waving at them. It was so cute!

** A couple of weekends ago we took Brayden to the park for the first time and I decided to take some pictures of him while we were there. I think they turned out pretty good.

**Brayden is starting to fight his naps! We lay him down and within seconds he is standing up in his crib wanting out. He gets so sleepy but refuses to lay down so we have started the cry it out method. This is SO hard for me, but I am working on it. We tried it two nights ago and it worked. He did not cry very long at all before he was out cold!

**Brayden has now learned to dance. I tell him to dance and he will bounce whether he is standing or sitting down. If he is standing up he will move his head from side to side while he is bouncing. It is so cute! The other day I got him to do it on video.

**Brayden now has his 8th tooth. We just discovered it on September 30th!

**Brayden stayed with his Grammie and Pappaw Mikey while Nick and I went to St Louis for a couple of days. Brayden did great! Mommy not so well. I knew he was in great hands but it was SO hard for me to be that far away from him. But we needed to get away for a couple of nights we had a great time but we sure missed our little man!

Brayden is such a joy to be around. I know I say this all the time, but I am so blessed to have such a sweet, happy, healthy little boy! I am so thankful for him.
