Nick and Amy plus TWO!: Brayden is 14 months old!!

Happy 2011!! I cannot believe it is the beginning of a new year and my little man is already 14 months old and on the go at ALL times! I never get to sit down now but he is SOOOOO much fun!! I LOVE this stage. Do not get me wrong I have LOVED every single stage and I definitely miss holding the itty bitty baby in my arms but I could honestly sit back and watch him walk all day long. It is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. And it seems like it is learning something new everyday! He is turning into such a big boy! He will walk all over the house for long periods at a time. I think he is really proud of himself! I know mommy sure is!

Brayden had a BIG Christmas, got lots of great toys and had a great time spending time with family.

It is SO hard to get a 14 month to sit still or even look at the camera to take a picture. This is normally how you find Brayden all day everyday! :) Check out this video of Brayden walking around the living room.

Here are some things that has been going on with Brayden during the past month!

**Brayden is now completely walking EVERYWHERE and he has been since before Christmas. He really got the hang of it right around Christmas and has been non stop ever since. He is such a independent little guy and loves to explore the entire house.

**He knows how to brush his hair. I will start to brush his hair and he will take the brush from me and I will tell him to "Brush your hair" and he will take the brush and brush through his hair. He picked this up on his own out of the blue.

**This child now has 16 TEETH!! WOW!! He had 4 coming in all at the same time. I cannot believe he got them all so fast! He has a mouth full!! He has not had any trouble teething. He fusses some but nothing that I cannot handle. He has been AMAZING. He did not run a fever, have trouble with his ears or a runny nose that sometimes comes along with teething. We all have been blessed!

**Speaking of teeth.....He LOVES to have his teeth brushed. He giggles, especially when I brush his top teeth. I think it must tickle. :) Here are some pictures and a video we took while brushing his teeth.

**Brayden loves to play and ride on his new 4 -wheeler. Santa brought that for him and he hopped right on and took off when he seen it.

**He also loves to play ball with mommy and he will giggle the entire time! We will sit in the floor and roll the ball back and forth. We did this a while ago but he was not as interested in it as he is now. This is one of his new favorite things.

**He also loves to play with his new leap frog telephone he got from Grammie for Christmas! He will pick up the telephone and say "Hi" like he is talking to someone. It is so cute!

**Brayden also loves to draw on his new doodle board. He picked this right up as well and started doodling with the little pen.

**Brayden is obsessed with Blues Clues. He loves it! He will sit and the floor and it keeps his attention. I have never seen a one year old sit so still for something. He only watches him a couple of times a day but when he does he is glued to him.

**Brayden is so curious and loves to figure out how things work. He studies things so hard and tries to figure it out. He is just like my dad and brother. I just know when he gets older he will be taking things apart just to see how they work and then will put it back together just like his Uncle Josh use to do.

**Brayden is completely sleeping through the night. He will go to bed about 8 or 8:30 p.m. and will not wake up until 8:30 or 9 in the morning. WHOO HOO!! Way to go Brayden!! I have been so blessed with such a happy and easy, good natured child. I just pray that our next will be the same way and not the complete opposite! :)

**He LOVES his snacks. He loves his puffs and especially his goldfish!! He sees the bag of goldfish and has a fit!!

**He still loves to eat but is getting a little more picker with his food but he still has a great appetite.

** He is talking more and more all the time!! He is definitely going to be a talker. We will have conversations with each other during the day even though I have NO CLUE what he is trying to tell me. I love having those moments with him. He will be really telling me a story and will shake his little head as he jabbers. I will say "REALLY??" and he say "YEAH". It is so funny!

He is saying a few more words this month. Two that I can think of is:

LuLu- my mom's dog

Get her Get her- We tell Brayden to "get her" (talking about the dog) and he has picked up on it. Too Cute! He sure does love Lucy!

**He got a recliner for Christmas and he has started to climb in it and stand up. He knows that he is not suppose to stand up in his chair and that it a no-no but I had to take a few pictures of him.

**Brayden is such a loving little boy! He gives the best hugs and kisses. He also loves on all his stuffed animals. He will hug and kiss them and pat on them. It is too cute!

**He loves to play peek-a-boo!

**Brayden loves to play hide and seek. Well I will hide and he will come and look for me and when he sees me I will say "Boo" He has started to say "Boo" as well. It is adorable.
**Brayden loves to be in the kitchen with me while I cook. He will pull at my legs just so I will pick him up so he can see what I am doing. Here is Brayden sitting on the counter in the kitchen with me.
