I am FINALLY finding the time to sit down and share some of our Christmas photos. The holidays have been so busy, but so WONDERFUL! We had a great Christmas and Brayden was spoiled rotten. I have my house back to normal and I think I have managed to find a place for ALL the toys he recieved. It is a miracle!
Our families are both divorced and in two different states so it makes for a lot of traveling and a lot of different Christmas gatherings. We started off our Christmas in Illinois at Nick's mom's house the Sunday before Christmas. We failed to get pictures because we were busy with Brayden. He was one shy little guy that day. We did manage to get a family photo.
We decided to do our Christmas at home as a family the night before Christmas Eve so that we could spend time together and enjoy each other and take time to let Brayden enjoy opening his gifts because Christmas Eve morning would be spent getting things together to head to Kentucky for the day. We had a big Christmas at home and we both got some REALLY nice gifts from each other. Nick spoils me rotten but lets just say that he is well taken care of as well. :)
Here are some photos of Brayden from our Christmas at home.

The next morning we headed to my dad's in Kentucky. We had lunch and enjoyed spending time together. Our Granny came over so that we could see her since I would be in Illinois at the time she has her Christmas get together. We opened gifts and dad enjoyed his time playing with Brayden.

After leaving my dad's, we went to my mom's to celebrate Christmas. We enjoyed a GREAT dinner and had a great time together. Brayden played his little heart out and we opened gifts from each other. Sadly, just a little bit after we opened the gifts we had to leave due to the weather.

My Mom and one of the gifts that I got for her. It is my blog that I made into a book for her. It starts from the day I found out I was pregnant through Brayden's first birthday! I have to say that I made myself one as well so I can show it to Brayden when he gets older. Even though we were soooo busy getting ready for the holidays, we could not forget to write Santa a letter.
On Thursday night before Christmas Eve I made homemade sugar cookies for Santa! I found these online and I thought that they would be something that Brayden and I could make together when he gets a little older. I thought they turned out pretty cute!

After we enjoyed some time with Brayden on Christmas morning we made our way BACK to Illinois to have Christmas Day lunch with his dad's side of the family at his Grandmother's house. After leaving there we came back to Evansville to pick up a few things and headed back to Kentucky to have dinner at my moms again and watch a Christmas movie. It was a great time!
We finally wrapped up our Christmas on New Years day at Nick's dad's house in Illinois. Here are some photos from Nick's dads house.

I hope that each and every one of you had a VERY Merry Christmas and that you have a wonderful New Year!
Here's to all of the many blessings of 2011.
