Nick and Amy plus TWO!: Brayden is 15 months old!!

My little man is 15 months old!! The time is flying by WAY to fast! It seems he is not so little anymore. He is on the go ALL THE TIME and he has such an AMAZING personality! He never ceases to amaze me each and every day.

I did not think it was possible but I love this little guy more and more each day! Each day brings something new with him and he is learning more and more each day. He is so smart.

It has been a couple of weeks since I have blogged. I have been pretty busy but I will try to do better in the upcoming weeks.

Anyway...here is what my little monkey has been up to in the past month!

**He is still sleeping SO good! We lay him down anywhere between 7:30 and 8 and he does not wake up until about 7 or 7:30 in the morning.

**He LOVES his nap time and does not fight it at all. In fact, I lay him down about noon each day and when I take him into his room I will ask him if he wants to take a nap and he giggles and points to his crib. I will give him a kiss and lay him down and he giggles and waves bye and after that he does not move a muscle! He normally sleeps for about 2 hours. This seems to good to be true. I just hope this continues! I have been blessed with such a good baby.

**9 times out of 10 he wakes up in such a good mood. I will normally hear him talking and then I will walk in his nursery to get him and when I open the door he yells "Hi" it is the cutest thing ever! :)

** Brayden is on the go NON-STOP!! He runs around everywhere and plays his little heart out all day long!He keeps me really busy and I do not have much of a chance to sit down but he is SOOO much fun!!

**He does like to relax at times though. Check out this picture of him relaxing, eating his puffs and watching blues clues in his very own recliner. He is not spoiled one bit!

**He talks all the time and this is one of my favorite parts. I can only imagine the stories he will tell as he gets older. In addition to all the words that I have mentioned in my previous monthly posts he can now say:

-Hot Hot Hot ( I will tell him this when I am cooking or if something is Hot)

-Boo ( This child LOVES for you to scare him. I will step out from around the corner and say Boo and he will jump and laugh and say Boo right back at me)

-I'm good.

-Baby

-Good Boy

-Okay. ( We will say something to Brayden and his new thing is to say "okay". For example, we will say "Brayden, let's go change your diaper" and he will throw his little hands down to his side and say "okay" and he will take off to his nursery) It is so funny!

-Bobbi (This is what he calls his paci)

Brayden and all his paci's he hid in his playroom. He came around the corner and had one in his mouth, one in his one of his hands and two in his other. Silly Boy! :)

**When you ask Brayden "What does a Cow say?" He will now say MOOOOOO!! It is soo cute!

** In my last monthly post I said that Brayden was starting to get a little more picky with his food. Well that did not last very long. It only lasted a couple of weeks and now he eats SO much better. He loves to try new things. Some of his favorite things are:

-Bananas

-Chicken

-Peaches

-Nutrigrain Bars

-Corn

-Peas

-Carrots

-Cheerios

-Potatoes

-Pasta

-Cheese

-Spaghetti

- Small bites of hamburger patty

-Goldfish

And just the other day he got his first taste at pizza. We had a Papa Murphy's pizza and I decided to go ahead and let him have a little bit of pizza and cheese sticks and he LOVED it.

I also had a milk shake the other day and he got a couple of bites of it. He also loves his little cookies but he does not get any of this very often. In fact he had his first cookie for the first time just the other day. I do not want him to have a lot of sweets since he is still so little, but one every once in a while never hurt anyone. :)

**He loves to feed us his food. He will offer his food to you as well as his paci. Such a sweet little guy!

**Brayden is starting to feed himself with his fork. He picked this up really easy and is really starting to get the hang of it but his favorite way to eat is still with his fingers.

** We play hide in seek and I will hide where I can still see him and he looks all over for me. It is so fun! He will spot me and just laugh his little heart out!

**He also loves for you to act like you are going to chase him. He will take off as fast as he can and giggle. He loves it!

**He loves to scribble! This is quite possibly one of his favorite things to do. He will sit in the floor and draw on his board or his floor drawing pad and he is perfectly content.

**He has also figured out Mommy's ipad and he loves to play with it. I have a few things for babies on there such as flash cards and an app called baby scratch. He also loves to play the bubble popper app where it is like you are popping bubble wrap.

** Anytime that Brayden does something good or I am proud of him I will say "Good Boy" and he will say YAY and clap his little hands for himself. He is so proud of himself.

**Brayden LOVES to dance!! It is the cutest thing. When I turn on the radio he immediately starts to dance and grins from ear to ear. He loves music just like his mommy!

**He loves to make mommy and daddy laugh. He is such a show off. :)

**When I am on the phone he loves to talk on the phone as well. He also loves to pretend to talk on his phone too. He will say HI and just jabber his little heart out.

** Brayden will now come and get me to show me something and you can tell that is what he is trying to do or if he wants something out of the cabinet like his snacks/puffs he will point and show me what he wants. If it is his paci that he wants he will say "bobbi" and I know exactly what he wants.

**I have taught him how to wash his hands and he LOVES it. I think that he just like the soap suds on his little hands. He will rub his little hands together and giggle.

**He picks up on so many things that I do and tries to mock my actions. For example, the other day after his bath I had him on the changing table and I had just finished putting lotion on him and the lotion pump is sitting right on his changing table and I reached over and pumped it a couple of times to put lotion on my hands and he reached over to the lotion pump and hit it twice and started rubbing his hands together just like I did. He did this twice and I just smiled from ear to ear and told him how smart he was. He is getting so big!

** Brayden has always been so loving but it seems he is getting more and more loving. I did not think that was possible. He really knows how to make my day by his big kisses and his little arms wrapped around my neck. I love when he is across the room and he sees me sitting in the floor and takes off as fast as he can and wraps his arms around my neck. BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!!

** Brayden got to enjoy more time in the snow this past month and he had a BLAST! With that said, we are SOOOOO ready for SPRING!! I cannot wait to get outside and play with Brayden this year! It will be so much fun. We have already been scoping out toys for the spring and summer! Can't Wait!!

Whew! I guess that is all for this monthly update!! Brayden goes to the doctor for his 15 month check up in a couple of weeks so I will be sure to post an update on him!!
