Brayden's Big Boy Room!

We finally put Brayden in his toddler bed a few weeks ago and he is doing great!! Mommy not so much. I am better now, but at first I had a breakdown.  I know he is 2 1/2 but I still had such a hard time moving the crib out of his room.  I was in tears.  I do not want my baby to grow up! He handled it really well and even wanted to help daddy move the crib out of his his room and into Olivia's room.  I got all his bedding out and he started giggling with excitement.  Seeing him so excited helped calm me a little bit.  We decided that we would just get him a toddler bed for now then move him into a full size bed.  I was not ready to put him in a huge bed all by himself just yet! 

He has quite a few toys in his room, but most of them are upstairs, especially the big ones that take up the most room. Poor Nick.  His man room is now turned into the toy room.  We are hoping that when we move we will have a huge playroom for the kiddos and Nick will be able to have his man room back.  Until then Nick is just going to have to learn to share.  LOL

Brayden's closet.  This is only part of his clothes.  The rest of them are hung up in a closet upstairs.  He has just as many clothes as a girl!  Thankfully the ones upstairs are a start of his fall/winter wardrobe!

He has been amazing with the transition.  He has always been a great sleeper since birth so I was afraid that moving him out of his crib would change him.  I was completely wrong.  He goes to sleep at 8:00-8:30 and sleeps all night long.  The first night he went to bed at 8:30pm and slept until 9am!! I was so proud of him! Every night since then he has enjoyed going to bed. He actually asks to go read a book and go "night night." Amazing!  This little boy loves his rest and relaxation! :) He has never gave us an ounce of trouble.  We never here a peep out of him until he wakes up in the morning.  I actually find myself going in there and checking on him quite often...he is THAT quiet!  He even still lays down every day for his daily nap without a hassle!  I could not ask for a better little boy!!! I am so blessed!!!
