I have enjoyed the past 7 months more than anything in this world and Brayden is SO much fun. I love this stage. I have loved all stages of his little life, but this one is so much fun and oh so entertaining. I know it is just going to get better and better.
Before I go any further, here is Brayden's 7 month photo.
He is growing like a weed! I think he looks super cute in his little overalls! :)
Well let's see....what all has Brayden been up to this month?
**Brayden rolls EVERYWHERE! If he wants to get to something he just rolls to it. I do not think that it will be long before he is crawling. He can hold his little body up with his arms but can't quite get his little legs under him. But he will! He will either start crawling or go straight to pulling up. This would not surprise me. He has such strong little legs and loves to stand up. We will see.
**He loves to play with mommy and daddy and with all of his toys. I will sit him in the middle of the floor and put a bin of toys in front of him and let him pull them out. He will sit in the floor, squeal and play with all his toys!! He loves it! The other day I gave him a magazine to play with and tear to shreds. He had the biggest time with this. I should have saved all our money and just invested in magazines and paper. Who knew paper could be so entertaining.
**Brayden also LOVES to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! He can be so fussy and I can turn that on and he is so happy! Here is a super cute video of Brayden watching Mickey!
**Brayden loves to play peek-a-boo! It is so cute! I will put the burp cloth over his face and he will sit really still and I will say "Where's Brayden??" and he will pull the burp cloth off his face and I will say "There he is" and he will smile so big! It is the cutest thing!
**He is so close to clapping his hands. I am trying to get him to do it. I will clap my hands together and say "YAY!!" and he gets excited and will throw his little hands against his legs. It is so funny. It will not be long before he gets the hang of it!
**I swear Brayden is trying to say momma. But I will not count it until I am absolutely for sure! :) He is definitely trying to.
**Brayden is starting to play this game with mommy, where he will drop something and I pick it up and he will drop it again. We will do this over and over. I think he thinks it is funny.
** He also loves to play in the laundry basket. One night I just decided to put him in the laundry basket and turns out he loves it.
**He is doing great at sitting up and hardly ever falls over. If he does he has learned to catch himself before he hits the floor. He also has really good balance so at times I think he is going to fall and he actually corrects himself and keeps himself from falling.
**We put him in his walker for the first time at the beginning of May. He LOVES it. He doesn't quite understand how to go forward yet, but he does a great job at walking backwards! He will get it soon enough! :)

**Brayden will now reach out for you if he wants you to hold him. I love this. My mom was getting ready to leave one day and she held out her hands and he went right to her. That made her day. Let me tell you it was really hard for her to leave after that. :)
**We have now tried almost all of the 2nd stages fruits and veggies and he LOVES them all!! He is definitely not a picky eater. I have gave him mashed potatoes during dinner one night and he loved them too! The only thing that I gave him was real applesauce (not the baby food applesauce) and he was not a huge fan of it.
**Brayden started his sippy cup this past month and he is going good with it. We have tried several juices and he LOVES them all too!! He will hold his sippy cup, get it in his mouth, but he doesn't understand how to get the juice to come out the of the cup and into his mouth. So I will tilt it back and he lets go. He wants you to hold it for him so he can drink out of it. Silly boy! We are working on getting him to hold it himself, although I would like to hold his bottle for a lot longer because to me this just means he is getting to big for me to hold it for him. I am not ready for that! 
We put Brayden in big boy PJs this past month and he looks so cute!! 
**This is Brayden's spot while we eat dinner. We usually feed him before we eat and then let him sit with us at the table during dinner. He loves it, although he think he is suppose to eat when he sees mommy and daddy eat. :) He does really good. We put some toys on the table and we eat, play and talk to him. It is a blast! 
**So I mentioned in my last post that Brayden now has TWO teeth!! I was unable to get pictures of them until a couple of weeks ago. Here are Brayden's two teeth!!!
**He loves to talk! I think when he finally learns to talk, he will be a chatter box! :) He also has discovered he can scream!! He will not be mad or anything but he will be playing and just scream and squeal to the top of his lungs. It is funny, but definitely ear piercing! LOL. He thinks it is funny though.
**Brayden loves bathtime! He has since birth! We blew up his duckie tub this past month and he LOVES it even more. He loves to sit in there and play with his toy and he has learned to splash! So fun!! 
**Brayden is still sleeping through the night. He has some rough nights here and there but I will not complain. And 9 times out of 10 he wakes up exactly like this.....
He is always super happy and he kicks his little arms and legs. He is ready for you to pick him up! I am so blessed with such a happy little baby.
**He loves to be tickled!! It is so funny!

**He doesn't really like to be held anymore if he is getting sleepy. He would rather you lay him down and let him fall asleep on his own. I am okay with this, but I kinda miss when he would fall asleep in my arms.
**Brayden went to his first wedding in May. He was such a good boy. He sat through the entire ceremony and we did not hear a peep out of him. He sat in my lap and play with his toys. Here is mommy and Brayden before the wedding. Too bad Daddy had to work :(
**We had Brayden's pictures made twice this past month. My mom wanted some pictures of my brother and I along with Brayden and then I scheduled to get Brayden's 6 months photos done although he was just barely 7 months when we had time to get them done. May was such a busy month!! Anyway here are a sample of the photos from both photo shoots!

I guess that is all for now! I feel like I need to blog more than once a month because there is so much to share, but I can barely find the time to blog once a month! My little man keeps me pretty busy!! But before I go, here are some random pictures of my handsome little man!

It is so much fun watching him grow and seeing you interact with him. You are such a good Mommy! I love the way his face lights up when you play with him and to see his sweet smile and hear those precious giggles..it just melts my heart! I love you both very much!! Mom (Grammie) :)
