Brayden is 9 months old!!!

Another month has come and gone. Where has the time gone? I seriously feel like I say the same thing every month but each month seems to fly right by me. Everyday brings something new with Brayden and I love to be able to be with him and share every milestone with him. I find myself sitting there just staring at him and watching him in amazement. I love to just sit back and watch him use his little hands and learn how to use things. He is growing so fast and in 3 short months my little man will be the BIG ONE!!! I cannot believe it. It is hard to even imagine!

Here is my little man at 9 months!!

Here is what Brayden has been up to this past month....

***Brayden can now say "mama" "dada" and "bye" His favorite to say is "bye" . I gave him the phone the other day so my mom could talk to him on the phone and I told him to tell grammie bye and he said "bye" without skipping a beat. It was so sweet!

***He was jabbering the other day and Nick and I both looked at each other and said "did he just say daddy?? " If he didn't, it sure sounded like it. :) He loves to just sit there and talk to you. It is so cute.

***Brayden now has 6 teeth and 1 more coming in! He is getting to be such a big boy!! He has done so well with the teething. I just hope it continues as the others continue to come in.

***He is still such a friendly baby and will go to just about anyone. I especially LOVE when he reaches for me. He is attached to his mommy and is definitely a mommy's boy but I wouldn't want it any other way.

Uncle Josh came to visit the other day. Brayden loves when he comes to see him. He loves his Uncle Josh and Uncle Josh loves his little buddy. :)

***Brayden still LOVES to eat and he is not a picky eater at all. I thought that at some point he would start being picky but he is far from it. He takes about 21-24 ounces of formula a day and he eats a fruit for breakfast and a veggie for lunch and a veggie for dinner. He loves all the fruits and veggies. He also has some juice during the day. We have tried all kinds of juice from apple, banana yogurt, pear, and grape. He loves them all.

***He is still trying to get up on those knees and crawl. He is trying his best but just cannot catch the hang of it just yet. He is so close and he gets so frustrated. He army crawls all over the place and he has got pretty fast at it. I can only imagine what he will be like if he ever crawls. Who knows he might walk before he crawls. He would rather stand than sit and loves for you to hold his hands and let him walk. We will see.

***He makes his way all around the house by doing his cute little army crawl. After I changed his diaper one day I laid him in the floor in the living room and before I knew it he had made his way all the way in his playroom and this is how I found him.....

***He is still a great sleeper. He still sleeps through the night but he does wake up tossing and turning throughout the night but he always goes back to sleep . I think that this is due to teething. I cannot complain! :)

***He is starting to fight his naps during the day. He use to be so easy to lay down for a nap and now every once in a while we will have to fight him to take a nap. Even though he cannot hold his eyes open most of the time he will fight it so he does not miss a thing.

***He loves to dance with mommy. I will play music and dance with him and he laughs the entire time. He loves it.

***I will say YAY!!! Brayden!! and he will let out this little squeal almost every time. He knows when I get excited and he always responds.

***Brayden is such a happy little guy!! He loves to laugh. He now laughs when I say something he thinks is funny and he laughs at silly noises he hears on the television.

***He definitely knows the meaning of "NO" He will try and get something that he shouldn't and I will tell him no and he will stop and look at me and 9 times out of 10 he will leave it alone.

***He mimics my facial expressions and my sounds. He loves to find a new sound to make. It amazes me how fast he picks up on things.

***He loves to look at his books. He has several that we read and look at and he loves it. He loves the little books that have the objects that have certain textures to touch. He will touch the books and just jabber. I would love to know what he is saying. :)

*** Brayden celebrated daddy's 30th birthday on August 5. I made him a cake and put up lots of decorations. Brayden loved the balloons and helped mommy bake daddy's cake. (We put powdered sugar on his little face)

I guess that is all for this month! I am so thankful for this little boy who is so smart and healthy. I thank God for giving him to me to brighten my life. He is my world and he is so very loved.
